The Governor of Samara region Constantine Titov took part in ceremonial event dedicated to 75th anniversary of the first Russian President Boris Yeltsin on February 1 in Moscow, informed the press-service of Samara region authorities.

At the event the decision made by Awards Council about giving the rank of Honorary Citizen of Samara region was announced.

Yeltsin was awarded with this rank for considerable contribution into social and economical development of Samara region.
