Foreign investors of "YUKOS" to bring action against Russian government 12 Western investors of oil company "YUKOS" lodged a complaint about actions of Russian government to Washington court.

Plaintiffs accuse several important Russian businessman and high-ranked officials of unauthorized disclosure of insider information of the company. In particular, they suppose that the head of "Gazprom" Aleksey Miller and officials undertook illegal actions directed at renationalization of "YUKOS" without any indemnity of investor`s losses.

"This is a larceny", - said the lawyer of plaintiffs Thomas Jones. He also explained that his clients became legal investors of "YUKOS" oil company by purchasing of American depository receipts (ADR) on New York stock exchange.

These ADR certifies the right of possession of 15% shares. As a result of actions of Russian government and several businessmen ADR has lost about $6 milliards in price.

Investors intend to put current president of "Rosneft" company Igor Sechin on trial. "Rosneft" company assumed possession of "Yuganskneftegas" company - main mining active of "YUKOS".

As a reminder, representatives of foreign investors attempted to serve a subpoena to several ministers of Russian government before.
