Scientists have concluded that about half of the genes responsible for mathematical ability, play an important role in the manifestation of the love of reading. In their study, the authors used information on the twelve-year-old children from about 2,500 British families.

Experts analyzed the ability of children to fast reading and comprehension of information, and ask questions of mathematics standard curriculum. Then the Scientists compared the test results with the genetic data, which allowed the authors to the conclusion correlation.

Scientists have left open the question about the role of training in the manifestation inclinations,

is determined genetically. In addition, the authors did not investigate the manifestation of the influence of individual genes on the ability of reading and mathematics.

The experts noted that a similar analysis of genetic information is able to be conducted to determine correlations between the large number of dispositions (including diseases) and psychological characteristics of identity.
