In 2016 book the baton of UNESCO will be Poland. The city of Wroclaw will become the capital of the book.

UNESCO recognized the Polish City of Wroclaw world book capital 2016,

according to ITAR-TASS.

Book capital every year it is the leading international organizations in the book industry. The ceremony of transfer of title from city to city is world book day - 23 April.

in 2014 book capital became Nigeria's Port Harcourt, in 2015, the relay will go South Korea's Incheon.

It is noteworthy that in 2016 Wroclaw, already on the initiative of the EU, will also receive the title of Cultural capital of Europe.
