As a result of breakdown at water-pipe in Zhigulevsk town of Samara oblast about 12 thousand people stayed without heating for more than a day.

This was informed by press-service of regional administration of Civil Security and Emergency situations. "The breakdown at main water-pipe has occurred because of valve defrosting as a result of sharp temperature drop". As a result of breakdown more than 20 thousand citizens of Zhigulevsk, including 4 kindergartens and the Central city hospital, stayed without water-supply. Moreover, 12 thousand people, including 4 schools, 4 kindergartens and social-rehabilitation center, stayed without heating-supply.
