Large terrorist action against local policemen was prevented in Dagestan town Hasavurt on February 12. Self-made explosive assembly was hidden in black bag among similar garbage bags. The bomb was found by specially trained dog during the beat of territory adjacent to police building.

The bomb was neutralized on the spot and sent to Makhachkala for expertise. Hasavurt Office of Prosecutor instituted criminal proceedings by 2 articles of Russian Criminal Code: "terrorist action preparation" and "illegal circulation of explosives and explosive devices".
