The state Committee of Ukraine on television and radio broadcasting makes recommendations to the citizens of the country to refrain from providing comments and interviews to the Russian media.
" We ask the people of Ukraine, authorized public organizations, state institutions to refrain from providing Russian media comments, interviews, informational messages, because it has the ability to be used against Ukraine ", - is informed in the report of the state Committee, which is quoted by RIA " Novosti ". For example, the state Committee States that printed and electronic publications of Russia biased in their coverage of the situation in Donbass. We emphasize that last week the national Council on television and radio broadcasting of Ukraine adopted the decision to ban the broadcasting of Russian TV channel " RTR-Planeta ", " NTV-Mir ", " Russia 24 " and " TV Center-Čnternational " in connection with discrepancy of their content to the Ukrainian law on television. The Commissioner of the foreign Ministry on the issues of human rights Konstantin Dolgov noted that the off channels is an attack on freedom of Ukrainians who can watch TV on Russian language. The OSCE also urged the Ukrainian authorities not to block the channels.
