Half of rooms of "Komsomolskaya pravda" editor`s office burnt down The fire in the newspaper "Komsomolskaya pravda" editor`s office has caused serious damage, the newspaper chief editor Vladimir Sungorkin has informed.

"Half of our rooms has burnt down. the equipment, server, library photo department and archives are destroyed", he said.
Sungorkin also noticed, that the building was not insured.

"To my mind, the building is not subject to reconstruction. This is the building of 1930s. the middle part of it has burnt down, the damage is serious", said the newspaper chief editor.
He noted, that according to provisional data, the fire could have been caused by electric wiring ignition.
The ignition took place between the floors. It is likely the problems with electric wiring between the fifth and the sixth floor, between rooms of "Komsomolskaya pravda" and the canteen.
