Several monuments located in the center of Voronezh soon can be put on the auction. The competitive manager of Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Administration of municipal economy and accomplishment of Leninskiy region" Vadim Frolov stated about this.

According to him, the enterprise on the balance of which there are many urban monuments, was acknowledged bankrupt on 22 December 2005. As a result the fate of two main city monuments proved to be open to question: monument to Lenin is in the central area of Voronezh and monument to Pushkin is in the Theater of opera and ballet.

As the basic creditors of Municipal Unitary Enterprise are considered contractors who carried out the works on the improvement of the territories around the monuments. The total of the debts of the "Administration of municipal economy" is 36 million rubles. "After the acknowledgement of bankruptcy during two months the manager must establish all the creditors and thus far 8 of them are revealed. Then the estimation of property and the meeting of creditors will be held on which the further fate of monuments will be decided " explained Vadim Frolov
