The Swiss government has extended the sanctions list in connection with the position of Russia in Ukraine, adding another 26, said in the Federal Department of economy, education and research, Switzerland.
Action measures concerning persons from the new list, which repeats the names included eleven and 26 July in the " black list " of the EU, begins on Tuesday at 18. 00 (20. 00 MSK), ITAR-TASS reported. First of Minister of economy of Switzerland Johann Schneider-Ammann warned the Government of accession to the EU sanctions against Russia. The Minister acknowledged that, if the restrictive measures concerning Russia discussed West, it will produce a " Domino effect ", because this will suffer and the Swiss economy. The EU since 1 August 2014 introduced sectoral punishment on the Russian financial sector. Five Russian banks have come under limits: Sberbank, VTB, Gazprombank, VNESHECONOMBANK and Rosselkhozbank. However, the EU brought out from under sanctions " dochek " Russian state-owned banks, with account of the EU. On Wednesday, the EU Council approved the inclusion of additional eight people and three organizations in the updated blacklist for Russia and Ukraine, thus, total number of participants this list has grown to 95 people and 23 of legal entities.
