Citizens of St. Petersburg bid firewall to famous composer Andrei Petrov, who died on February 15 because of extensive stroke.

Funeral ceremony takes place in Big hall of Petersburg Philharmonic Society. Representatives of authority, cultural workers of Moscow and Petersburg and hundreds citizens, who know and love Petrov`s music, attend the ceremony.

The composer will be buried on Volkov cemetery in museum-necropolis "Literary Mostki".

As a reminder, famous composer, chairman of Composer`s Union of Petersburg, national artist of USSR Andrei Petrov is the author of numerous ballets, opera and symphonic compositions. He composed music to 70 cinemas, including "I walk along Moscow", "Be aware of automobile", "Office love affair".
