The scientists from USA discovered using orbital telescopes "Hubble" and "Spitzer" a distant galaxy, which is several times bigger than our Milky Way.
The discovery aroused a big interest among astronomers: it is considered that a new galaxy was formed on very early stage of Universe development when its age was only 800 million years. The present age of the universe can be estimated as approximately 13,5 milliards years.
The size of the galaxy surprised the specialists: up to now it was thought that the first formed galaxies had considerably less stars than those that were formed lately, the Milky Way for example. According to the American specialists? calculations the mass of stars containing in found galaxy eight times bigger than the mass of Milky Way stars.
