US Energy Minister Samuel Bodman will visit Russia next week to take part in the meeting of G8 energy ministers, during which the problems of global energy safety will be discussed. As the press-service of American Energy Ministry informes the meeting will be held on 16 March in Moscow.

It is expected that Bodman will hold the meeting with the officials of the Russian industry and energy ministry and Rosatom. Furthermore, in program of the visit of the minister it is planned to meet with the representatives of American business circles and appearance in the Moscow department of the Carnegie Fund.

From Russia the minister of power engineering of the USA will leave with the visit for Pakistan, and then he will visit Kazakhstan and Hungary. During the visit of the Kazakh capital of Astana in Bodman planned the meeting with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, press-service reports.
