The action plan NATO may include the upgrading of airfields
Plan NATO readiness for action, adopted at the NATO conference in Wales in the early autumn, may include the upgrading of airfields and ports of the member countries of the Commonwealth, said NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

" We will also consider the possible modernization of the national infrastructure. This may include airfields and ports, to Express support for reinforcements if necessary, " he said at a press conference. According to him, NATO will also improve the early warning system, modernizing the collection and exchange of data intelligence." We will improve our defence plans, will increase the number of exercises of different types. They will be (held) in more places and more often, " said the Secretary General.

The summit of leaders of the countries-members of NATO will be held on 4 and 5 September, Newport in Wales. NATO wants to discuss the increase in military spending, long-term presence of troops in Eastern Europe and accommodation at the headquarters of the Commonwealth in the field of arms and ammunition, the Strength of response and enhanced graphics of NATO exercises. On the sidelines of the summit will also host a meeting of the Ukraine - NATO, on which the Alliance wants to make a statement about helping Kiev in strengthening and modernization of the Ukrainian military power.
