Kiev agreed with Turkey the opportunity pass LNG tankers through the Bosporus
Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov and the head of the Grand national Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek met in Norway discussed the possibility of crossing tankers with liquefied gas through the Bosporus in the context of the construction of LNG terminal in Odessa region, the press service of the Ukrainian Parliament on the last working day of the week.

Ukraine planned to build on its territory in the area of Odessa terminal for liquefied natural gas with a total capacity of up to 10 billion cubic meters per year. The project is aimed at reducing the country's dependence on gas exports from Russia.

The parties agreed to continue meeting on these issues in the near future.
