The Ministry of justice of Ukraine considers unacceptable the formation of the people's militia units in selected districts of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

yesterday, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted the law on the special status of separate regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which, for example, provides for the formation and coordination of local authorities of the people's militia from the local residents.

" The formation of the so-called people's militia units invalid. It can only be in one variant, if these units will be subject to Ukrainian legislation and the Ukrainian authorities - law enforcement agencies, " said the head of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko at a press conference on Wednesday.

first Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that the national police in the Donbass will have to operate under Ukrainian law.
