The head of the Ministry of defense of Latvia Raymond Vejonis will attend a two-day working visit to Kiev to discuss the possibility of providing Latvia support the armed forces of Ukraine, informs the press service of the Minister.

" Vejonis will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Valery Heliteam to assure support for Latvia to Ukraine's efforts to preserve its territorial integrity, " - said the press service.

in the framework of the visit, the Minister will visit the international specialized Exhibition " Arms and security " in Kiev, where developers, manufacturers and suppliers of weapons will show the latest achievements in the field of armaments. Also Vejonis will visit the military infrastructure of Ukraine.

The Minister's visit will last from 24 to 26 September.
