The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has changed the boundaries of Luhansk region
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft resolutions on changing the boundaries of districts of Luhansk region. This decision was supported by 236 Ukrainian parliamentarians when the required minimum of 226 votes. Permanent representative of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in the Parliament Ruslan Kniazevych said that the need to address this issue arose from the fact that certain districts of Luhansk region is not fully controlled by Kiev.
