Russia took 68th place in the chart welfare States in the world for 2014, compiled by the organization Legatum Institute. In one year she lost 7 lines rating, which was the worst variation among European countries. The index includes 142 countries, covering 96% of the world's population and 99% of world GDP. It assesses eight categories: economy, education, health, personal freedom, security, opportunity entrepreneurship, management and social capital. The leader of the rating again became Norway, followed by Switzerland and New Zealand. The ten most prosperous countries in the world also includes Denmark, Canada, Sweden, Australia, Finland, the Netherlands and the USA. In the post-Soviet space the best chart obtained Lithuania (42nd place) and Latvia (44). Belarus has risen from 58 to 53rd place, Ukraine - 64 63-E. Kazakhstan, by contrast, fell by 8 positions, becoming the 55-M.
