At the same time, according to the Russian legislation, the media do not have the opportunity to work in Russia without a proper Russian license.

According to the law, Up to 1 April 2015 Pets distribution media in the Crimea and Sevastopol, including television and radio broadcasting, as a result of registration certificates and licenses issued by the state bodies of Ukraine. Before April 1, the media have the opportunity to obtain a Russian license at no charge.

Those media that do not, will not be able to continue working.

Crimea and Sevastopol became the Russian regions according to the results of the March referendum. Until January 1, 2015, there shall be a transition period. This deadline must be resolved integration issues of the Peninsula in the economic, monetary and legal system of Russia.
