Residents of Bratislava staged a demonstration against the visit of Poroshenko
Several dozen residents of Bratislava on Sunday staged a demonstration against the visit to the Slovak capital of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Activists of events unfurled banners reading " the Czech Republic and Slovakia with you, the new Russia!" and " save the Donbass from the Ukrainian army!". Periodically, the demonstrators began chanting " Fascist!", passes TASS. Despite the fact that the protest against the visit of the President of Ukraine was not coordinated with the regional authorities, law enforcement agencies have not tried to overclock its participants and demonstrators behaved calmly, not interfere with traffic or pedestrians. Poroshenko arrived in Slovakia in the first day of the weekend and held conversations with Prime Minister Robert fico. On Sunday the head of the Visegrad group, which includes Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary (V4), as well as the presidents of Ukraine and Germany met in Bratislava on meeting dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the fall of socialism in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
