Ukraine is ready to offer Norwegian companies with special investment rules in its gas transport system (GTS), said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the Ukrainian-Norwegian business forum, which took place on Tuesday in Kyiv.

" Ukraine together with the Parliament and together with the European countries interested in investing in the Ukrainian gas transport system. If the Norwegian organization, which are presented in the energy community willing to invest in the Ukrainian GTS, our Parliament and the government is ready to provide a special mandate not only European countries, but Norway - special rules for investment in gas transportation system, " - said Yatsenyuk.

Ukraine in September passed a law allowing the government to make the operator GTS countries, in which up to 49% will be able to get investors from the US and the EU.
