Vandals repainted the monument to Soviet Marshal in Prague
The monument to Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev, standing in the Prague district of bubene?, unidentified vandals repainted in pink, said the Commissioner of the administration of this area.
The act of vandalism was committed at night. Pink paint were painted pants Marshal and the lower part of his coat. As the saying goes, the district authorities have already cleared the monument, returning his original appearance, reports TASS. Marshal Ivan Stepanovich Konev (1897-1973) at the end of the Second world war took part in the liberation of Prague. His monument at any time of the year are fresh flowers. July 7, in the Polish city of Limanov municipal authorities demolished the Monument of gratitude to the red Army. In the night of 7 and 8 may in Austria unknown persons desecrated the memorial to the Soviet Soldiers-liberators in Piazza Wartenberger in the centre of the Austrian capital. Memorial inscription on a granite cube in front of the monument bathed in yellow and blue paint, imitating the flag of Ukraine.
