Officials economists CIS countries will discuss the steps in difficult conditions
Members of the Council of CIS heads of government discussed in the last working day circumstances, with pricing on the markets of oil and oil products, told the Executive Secretary of CIS Sergey Lebedev. He added that on December 12 Plenipotentiaries of the governments of CIS countries will consider the General steps to minimize the effects of the difficult economic and financial situation in the world.

" The decision provides for the holding of such consultations on 12 December at the session of the CIS economic Council in Moscow. Rather we hope that these meetings will help us not only better explain the situation, but also to consider the overall practical steps to minimise the effects of the difficult economic and financial situation in the world, " - said Lebedev at the press-conference on results of the meeting of the Council of CIS heads of governments on the last working day of the week.

according to him, this will be meeting at the level of Plenipotentiaries of the governments of CIS countries, responsible for the financial and economic sphere.

Lebedev added that the space of the CIS becomes most relevant in the current difficult economic conditions.

" I would single out the performances of the heads of delegations (at the Council of CIS heads of governments) in a narrow format and phrases about the fact that the CIS was, there is and remains extremely necessary platform for discussion of topical issues of interaction, but also to address practical issues of cooperation of the CIS countries, the most in the current difficult times on the international arena, when the situation is complicated and on the economic field, " He said.

the CIS is comprised of eleven countries - all former Soviet republics except Georgia and the three Baltic countries joined the EU. At the Council meeting on the last working day of the week involved the Prime Ministers of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan itself Turkmenistan presents the first Vice-premiers, Ukraine and Moldova - the ambassadors.
