Robot Philae found alien water Research module provided samples of water from comets Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Studies have shown that the water on the comet and the Earth has a different composition.

Module Philae space probe Rosetta landed on the nucleus of the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko 12 naaba, letaw 10 years. In consequence of the investigations of the chemical composition of the comet's nucleus, it was discovered that the water on the comet and the Earth have a different composition. "Water vapor with comets differ significantly from the earth", - informs the European space Agency (ESA).

The proportion of heavy hydrogen, or deuterium, in the composition of water vapor in comet significantly exceeds the percentage of water on Earth. Starting from these studies, scientists concluded that the water could not be brought to Earth by comets. This may indicate that water was brought to the earth by asteroids, not comets, and yet the question of the occurrence of water on Earth remains open.

As previously notified the Day.Ru module Philae is located in a shade similar to the rock formation. This prevents the device to charge solar batteries, in consequence of this the module does not have enough energy. Philae receives the ultraviolet light within only one and a half hours, although for normal operation, the batteries he needs six to seven hours of lighting.

Module Philae space probe Rosetta landed on a three-kilometer comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko November 12, approximately at 18:35 on capital time. Using module scientists investigate the chemical composition of the comet's nucleus.
