Employees of the STX shipyard in Saint-Nazaire staged a protest
Several hundred workers of the shipyard STX in the French city of Saint-Nazaire, where work is underway on the helicopter carrier type " Mistral ", organized on Thursday a protest with the demand to increase wages, informs Figaro.
The strike, which lasted about 45 minutes, the workers called immediately 3 of the trade Union CGT, FO and CFDT. All, according to the publication, the action was attended by 300 to five hundred people. Trade Union organizations have found it prohibitively small wage increase proposed by the organization's leadership for 2015, and the emphasis is on increasing payments, reports RIA " Novosti ". Now a small port town more often attracts the attention of the people, as on the area of France and beyond its borders. This is due largely to the fact that on the place Saint-Nazaire are two helicopter type " Mistral ", which leads the Firm STX. Remember, France was prepared to order two Mistral, but suspended the supply of provisions in Ukraine. In the case of final refusal to supply Moscow two Mistral France will have to pay Russia for about 3 billion euros. Russia has already prepared all the documents for submission to the court of France. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin stated that after the situation with helicopter carrier type " Mistral " Russia will not buy ready-made military equipment abroad.
