Minister of education And science of Ukraine Serhiy Kvit said about the fact that already before the end of the current year in the country have the opportunity to close about 70 higher education institutions, informs.

" currently we have about three hundred higher education institutions. We are in the process of what further reduce this network. We put forward different complaints to those universities that do not comply with license conditions. And for this reason, by the end of the year somewhere around 70 universities have the opportunity to disappear, " He explained.

The Minister added that the reduction of higher education institutions does not mean that there will be some social tensions. He believes that teachers will be able to find a new place of work, and students will be transferred to other universities.
