Moscow has requested the official position of Berlin in the words of the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk on " the invasion of the USSR in Germany and in Ukraine, " said correspondents, 1st Deputy head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Titov.

" We have sent a note to the German foreign Ministry with a request to the official position of the Federal Republic of Germany in connection with extremist statement of the Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, falsifying history, " said Titov.

Yatsenyuk during his visit in Berlin said that " We are all very well remember the Soviet invasion of Ukraine and in Germany."

Germany on 1 September 1939 began a military campaign against Poland, thus marking the beginning of the Second world war. Soviet troops on September 17, 1939 entered the area of Western Ukraine and Western Belorussia that Poland has received the results of the Soviet-Polish war of 1919-1921.
