NBU says that the dynamics of the stocks in the beginning of winter was due most importantly to sustain the payment of the NJSC " Naftogaz of Ukraine " for imported natural gas.

As underlined by the Agency, before the lowest level of international reserves at $7, 634 billion was recorded in February 2004. From the beginning of 2014 reserves of Ukraine decreased by $12, 883 billion, or 63, 1%.

International reserves of Ukraine continues to decline against the background of the difficult situation in the economy. At the beginning of December 2014 they were $9, 96 billion - this was the lowest level Since 2009. On November 1, 2014, the volume of reserves was $12, 6 billion So, for November reserves decreased by 21, 4%. The October decline was 23, 3%.
