Poroshenko one of the first in Ukraine received biometric passport
One of the first Residents of Ukraine, received new passports c biometric data owners, became the country's leader Petro Poroshenko, said the head of the country.

According to Poroshenko, the introduction of biometric passports of Citizens of Ukraine for traveling abroad is a key step towards visa - free regime with EU countries.

" This step, the EU expects Ukraine to provide us with a visa-free regime ", - said the head during a visit to the service center for the issuance of passports, informs the press-service.

Poroshenko said that in February, the citizens will receive 10 thousand new passports, March 30 thousand, and in April - more than 200 thousand 1st Deputy head of the Ministry of internal Affairs Eka Zguladze said that over time, the procedure for issuing documents will make it easier, and the number of points where they will probably get will increase.

together with the President of biometric passports received a group of Citizens, " contributed to the development and strengthening of the country ". Among them are the Maidan activists, artists and correspondents, as well as resettled from the Crimea - the pianist Christine Mikhailichenko.
