The Verkhovna Rada registered a draft resolution on the temporary suspension of accreditation of correspondents and technicians of a number of mass media of Russia in the organs of state power of Ukraine, informs the press service of the Council.
The authors of the document people's deputies of the faction "Block Petro Poroshenko Irene Frieze and Bogdan Onufryk, writes" Apostrophe "." taking into account the special situation in the country, conducting anti-terrorist operations in the East of the country, certain mass media of the Russian Federation in fact lead information war against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, " said Frieze. The decree provides that the SBU compiles a list of media of Russia, which seem to be involved in the maintenance of the " information war ". Accreditation is suspended for correspondents, and for all authorized such Russian mass media (producers, cameramen, technicians). The decree also obliges the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to establish a procedure for the accreditation of correspondents and technical authorized foreign media for one month.
