Analyst: U.S. aid to Ukraine and Georgia at $170 million will not play a role
The Budget of the U.S. aid package for Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia almost 170 million dollars will not play a large role in the field, says Deputy Director of the Kennan Institute in the capital of the United States William Pomerantz.

"I don't think it will be important, given the current military events on the ground in Ukraine. I think it's mostly done to show support for Georgia and Moldova, and to show that North America will continue to support Ukraine in the current crisis, but I don't think it will be crucial At this point in time, " said Pomerantz.

The draft budget of the USA in the 2016 financial year, which made the Congress leader Barack Obama, involves the allocation of 117 million dollars Ukraine and 51 million dollars Moldova and Georgia " in opposition to Russian pressure and aggressive action."

in addition, the U.S. administration wants to spend up to 275 million dollars on additional guarantees of debt of Ukraine in denominations of 1 billion US dollars.

"The budget includes vital support for Ukraine and countries in the region to resist Russian pressure and aggressive action," he said in this regard in the state Department.

"The budget also provides support for democracy and anti-corruption measures, national unity, European integration, trade, energy security and public diplomacy to counter Russian propaganda throughout Europe and Central Asia," said state Department.
