The U.S. Senate approved the post of Minister of defense Ashton Carter, former first Deputy head of the Department. It is noted that his candidacy was supported by 93 Senator. Carter became the fourth head of the Pentagon during the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama, informs Associated press.
