Naryshkin: external pressure on business in the Russian Federation will not prevent the development of relations
External pressure on the Russian entrepreneurs will not stop their objective desire to develop cooperation with its partners, said on Wednesday the head of the state Duma Sergey Naryshkin.

Naryshkin 18 February participates in the meeting of the round table " cooperation with foreign investors: fresh opportunities for cooperation and risks in the current economic conditions."

"Attempts to isolate the Russian Federation are simply doomed to failure, and no External political pressure on the entrepreneurs will not stop their objective commitment to dialogue and to develop cooperation with its partners," said Naryshkin.

The speaker of the lower house of the Russian Parliament added that anti-Russian punishment is perceived as a tool of such blatant political and economic blackmail, which has nothing to do with neither international law, nor with the principles of the world trade organization ".

Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. At the end of July last year, the EU and the US from point penalties against private individuals and organizations turned to measures against entire sectors of the Russian economy. In response, Russia has restricted the import of food items from countries that have imposed regarding her punishment.
