Almost 2, 5 thousand Ukrainian military left the area Debaltsevo in the East of Ukraine, said the head of the country's Petro Poroshenko.

"as of now out of Debaltsevo 2 475 soldiers, 2 of them 132 is equipped with force weapons, 158 - the national guard under, the rest are MIA. Nearly 200 pieces of various mechanisms were withdrawn from the area Debaltsevo, " Poroshenko said at a meeting of the Council of national security and defence of Ukraine.

"Ukraine was an ultimatum that they must give all weapons and surrender," said he.
