The national Commission of Ukraine, regulating energy and utilities, in the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum with the IMF, decided to increase from April 1, the price of gas for plants, utility companies, producing heat for residents, 2, 2 times up to 2, 934 thousand UAH (approximately 107 dollars) per thousand cubic meters of fuel.

the corresponding decision was taken at a meeting of the Commission on Tuesday, reports Ukrainian news Agency.

As said Commissioner a fee, tariff for gas for TCA compensates only 24% of the cost of producing heat for the residents.

before Tuesday, the Commission has decided to increase from 1 April of the current year minimum tariff for gas for residents in 3, 3 times up to 3, 6 thousand UAH (about 132 dollars) per thousand cubic meters of fuel.
