The Prosecutor General's office DND announced the initiation of a criminal case on violation of the mine after the explosion at the Zasyadko mine in Donetsk.

"Prosecuted under the criminal code pursuant to section 248 of the criminal code DND" violation of the mine, resulting in the death of 2 or more persons " - quoted Donetsk news Agency press service of the Prosecutor General.


on Wednesday morning at the Zasyadko mine explosion occurred. According to the Ministry DND, in the mine at the time of the explosion were 230 miners, 157 people were brought to the surface. First of Donetsk regional state administration referring to the territorial information management Committee, for its part reported 33 dead miners. Later the state enterprise of Ukraine opened a case on violation of safety rules.

The Zasyadko mine is one of the largest coal plants in Ukraine.
