The Parliament of Ukraine has given its consent to the President to dismiss Vitaly Yarema with the office of the Prosecutor General of the country.

Relevant draft resolution supported 291 member when the required minimum of 226 votes. Then the supervisor must sign the decree of his dismissal from his post.

About 100 of the people's representatives have already signed this proposal. For expressions of mistrust need 150 signatures.

Ukrainian media said yesterday that Yarema wrote a message about the dismissal. Yarema worked in the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine from June of last year. He was one of the Ukrainian bureaucrats who criticized the law on lustration. In his vision, the law is not in conformity with the Constitution and the requirements of international law.
