Pictures of Venus put scientists in a deadlock Astrophysics with the technical capabilities of the Goddard Spaceflight Center, NASA, and Arecibo Observatory National science Foundation of the United States received high-quality photo of Venus. Data snapshots are not only surprised the experts, but stumped.

As they say in the material published NRAO, astrophysics using ground-based radar telescopes have created the perfect image of Venus. 1st similar images of this planet were obtained in 1988 using the Arecibo Observatory. Was, from that time on Venus happened a lot of changes.

The surface of the planet at the moment hide thick clouds, usually composed of carbon dioxide. Using ground-based radar telescopes, scientists have turned to "break" through this dense veil and get a thorough image of the surface of Venus. About what exactly the experts found on a distant planet, not told, however it is known that the study was postponed for some time.

It is known that for continuation of the experiment, the scientists important pictures from the archives. Experts suggest to study the planet's surface and to follow all its changes, combining ultra-precise images of different years. As a result, comparing images acquired at different time intervals, scientists promise to find on the planet symptoms of active volcanoes and other geological activity. In the future this should help to better understand the geological history and the underground conditions of Venus.

"Comparing images produced at different periods of time, scientists suggest, in the end, find the symptoms of active volcanism or other dynamic geological processes that can detect clues to the geological history and the underground conditions of Venus. This may be a clue to the origin and possible extinction of life on this planet", - is told in the news American astrophysicists.
