The acting head of the OSCE, Minister of foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic has supported the decision of the Permanent Council on the renewal of the mandate of the Special monitoring mission in Ukraine, reportedly in circulation.

"it is important that all parties have unhindered access of our observers and guarantee their safety, it is a necessary condition for execution of the mandate of the Special monitoring mission (SMM)" - are, in the words of the Dacic.

the head of the OSCE also noted that the conclusion about the extension of the mission's mandate reaffirms the obligation of all member countries of the OSCE in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

The OSCE reported that to date, the mission has exceeded the number of 400 observers, of which 350 observers working in the East of Ukraine, where they have duties to monitor the cease-fire and verification of the withdrawal of heavy weapons.
