Vice-speaker of the state Duma Sergei Zheleznyak (United Russia ) tried to convince the international Commonwealth to investigate all the transgressions against humanity committed by the Ukrainian security forces in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

The Ukrainian authorities have taken in April of last year in the Donbass military operation against dissatisfied with the coup of the region's population. According to the final data of the UN, the victims of the conflict began more than 6 thousand people.

"We call on all international Commonwealth to follow the norms of international law, to investigate all the transgressions against humanity committed by the Ukrainian punishers on earth Donetsk and Luhansk, and to bring those responsible to strict liability," Zheleznyak said at the plenary meeting.

In the fall of 2014, the State Duma appealed to the world's parliaments and international parliamentary organizations on the need to conduct an international investigation of crimes against the peaceful inhabitants in the South-East of Ukraine.
