Bomb exploded in the east of Moscow: 1 injured
A woman was wounded in an explosion that occurred near a cafe in the east of Moscow, a police source said.
"According to preliminary reports, the self-made bomb contained 50 grams of TNT, but was not stuffed with shrapnel," the source said.
He said the victim was hospitalized with minor burns and concussion. No other casualties have been reported.
The blast wave destroyed several glass panes in the nearby cafe, but did not cause any major damage to the building.
An investigation into the incident is under way, police said.
