The government has increased the minimum subsistence level

In connection with the increase in the price of some goods, the government has decided to increase the subsistence minimum. Now this amount is 8192 ruble per capita which is 6.6% more than it was last quarter.

In the first quarter of 2014 subsistence minimum per capita was at 7688 rubles. At this time, started rising food prices. With all of this price increase is equal to approximately 6.2%, however, the subsistence minimum increased by 6.6%.

It is emphasized that, according to Rosstat data, the index of consumer prices for the 2nd quarter of 2014 was 102,7%. Measures to increase the subsistence minimum are included in the complex of actions aimed at increasing the social protection of people of Russia.
