Production of vaccine against bird flu is delayed, and is unlikely to start before spring birds migration, said the head of Flu Research Institute attached to Russian Academy of Medicine Science Oleg Kiselev.
"We were to produce the vaccine before birds migration, but now we have no time enough", he said at the press conference on Tuesday. According to him, the Institute "goes out of schedule on production workers fault".
"The Institute is going to find an investor and produce elite lots of vaccine in control Institute laboratories. To my mind, this mess, appeared in the country because of fight for resources on veterinary and human vaccine (against bird flu), will stop", he said. The head of the Institute has noted, that there is "wild shameless commercialization" around vaccine creation. "There is inventors` parade", he said.
