Russian scientists invented the technology of producing food from blood: cookies, yogurts and drinks.
"Bloody food" will be much cheaper to produce than dairy produce. At the same time they will be healthy.
The scientists of the Voronezh State Technological Academy invented the technology. Cookies and dairy produce will be made by the ordinary recipes. The only difference is that instead of milk blood plasma of the animals will be used. As a result the products will not have fat but they will contain twice more proteins and iron.
The member of the scientist?s group Ludmila Antipova informed: "The idea to substitute blood for milk has a lot of positive sides. First of all, every year meat-processing factories throw in the trash several tons of animals? blood. Second, blood has been used in food industry for couple of years, that?s why we decided to replace milk for blood. Third, milk is very expensive".
As for the foreign scientists they have different opinions concerning this procedure. Most of them estimated the new idea. But the British scientists declared that realization of this technology will be pretty hard. First there will exist psychological problems: it will be hard for people to get used to the idea of "eating blood". Second in many countries people will refuse to eat "bloody food" scared of catching diseases like cow-rabies of other animal infections.
