Krasnoyarsk doctors developed new method of scoliosis treatment
Construction called "endocorrector" allows to cure first as well as most complicated - third and forth - stages of scoliosis among children older than 7 years.
Endocorrector is prepared from titanium alloy and serves for straightening of spine by means of elastic plates. Construction forms conditions for proper development of dorsal bone structure until the end of their growth, keeps natural mobility of the spine, excludes wearing of the corset.
Durting surgery, which lasts for 1.5-2.5 hours, endocorrector is placed under back muscles along the spine.
The construction is unnoticeable and doesn`t prevent normal way of life. 14-21 days after surgery a child is discharged from hospital and lives as usual.
