If humanity continues to use fuel as actively as it does today then glaciers on both poles of planet will melt in 22 century, average temperature of Earth will increase by 8 degrees and level of world ocean will grow by 7 meters. This conclusion was made by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Chinese cosmonauts conducted experiments in space

On Thursday Chinese cosmonauts conducted series of experiments on orbit. Crew of second in Chinese history piloted spacecraft "Shenchzhou-6" - Fei Junlong and Nie Haisheng - tested systems of spaceship. In particular, they opened and closed interior door into cabin, examined its impermeability, being in returnable module took their space-suit off.

Trains never moved so high

China advertised finishing of great building of railway to Tibet. Chinese engineers asseverate that they held a new world record. Railing was built at an altitude of more than 5000 meters. There is no land where trains move so high. Several hundreds of kilometer of railing were built in conditions of permafrost. At the most difficult phases workers had to breathe with the help of oxygen bombs.

Giant strawberry grew in China

It has size of adult palm. Berry of unusual sizes grew on the territory of Shanghai school teacher. Teacher decided to show amazing strawberry to pupils and brought it to school. Berries` sizes were appreciated by children but they refused to eat it fearing that it has dangerous chemical agents.
